I made this layer tapioca kueh ( kue pepe), the recipe originally from here, the owner of the recipe past away last year, bless her for her kindness sharing this nice recipe.

Ingredients:
A.
130 gr sugar
200 cc coconut milk
1 lemon grass
5 kafir leaf
2 pandan leaf
B.
50 gr Tapioca starch
50 cc coconut milk
C.
75 gr Tapioca starch
50 gr rice flour
1/2 tsp salt
150 cc coconut milk
1 tbs green pandan leaf essence
* brush some vegetable oil to the baking pan, heat the empty baking pan in the steamer.
Method:
-Mix A ,cook till boil.
-Mix B,until smooth.
-Mix A to B till smooth.
-Add C to the mix A+B , slowly, till smooth.
-Divide batter into 3 portion, give color to each portion, green, red, and white, steam every layer for 5-6 minute, the last layer steam about 20 minutes.

I love this kue lapis very much. You´re really patience to make this kue.
Retno, try to make it, it is so easy, just wait for every layer 5 minutes , put the timer on. I'll hope you make it someday :)
